Pay Rates:

• 1st class SW $28.19/hr + $48 non-local (daily RER)
• 2nd class SW $24.81/hr + $48 non-local (daily RER)
• 3rd class SW $23.68/hr + $48 non-local (daily RER)
• Shift Differential $1/hr

Structural Welder Job Description:

• Use of welding process flux core: FCAW
• Use of welding process stick welding: SMAW
• Use of welding positions vertical (3G), horizontal (2G) and overhead (4G)
• Exposure to heights, confined spaces

Job Requirements:

• Must pass welding assessment: Fluxcore vertical test, open butt weld on ¼” plate with metal backing strap in positions 2G, 3G, 4G
• Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
• Read and interpret blueprints utilizing both meh·ic and standard measurements
• Flux core and Stick welding
